INSPIRE ME - Guest Post: Natasha Basilé-Gracey

Hello Wednesday the perfect day for another guest post part of the INSPIRE ME series.

I can't thank you enough for all of your amazing responses on last weeks post with me answering the questions. Your love and support is something I truly cherish, it's so wonderful to be able to help and inspire so many of you. It's why I love doing what I do.

Any way moving on...this week I have a very special person, one who's extremely close to my heart... my favourite personal trainer, spin teacher, sports massage therapist, absolutely beautiful Natasha  Basilé-Gracey aka my Tashy Bear.

It's the biggest pleasure in the world to have Tash answer these questions and feature upon my blog. Without going completely soppy, Tash is one of my closet friends, biggest inspirations and understands me like no one else does. She is one of the strongest people I know with one of the kindest, biggest hearts on the planet. She's obviously amazing at what she does and it shows when she's with her clients or training for herself.

I can't help but be happy when I'm around Tash, she puts a little spark in my day, every single day. We click like two peas in a pod! Plus, I've finally found someone who loves peanut butter just as much as me.... oppsie.

Plus she gives the biggest, most amazing cuddles on the planet, what could be better?

What does being 'healthy' mean to you?

Health to me means having a balance of all round fitness, with a good balanced diet

What inspired you to get into fitness?

When I was younger I felt lethargic and unfit, I hated sports in school and was really unfit. I was dragged to the gym by my cousin!! But after one spin class I was hooked which is where I decided to teach spin between my day job! And the love grew from there

Do you have any advice for anyone wanting to get into fitness and start a business in the fitness industry?

Make sure it's your passion, let your personality shine, empathise with your clients and really try to understand where they are in their heads... Sometimes it just takes a shift in mindset and a good chat to really get the best out of your clients. Give them your time when they need it even outside of sessions.. And above all practice what you preach!!

What keeps you motivated?
Staying in shape and feeling my best! If I look bad I feel bad!

What's your favourite meal of all time?

Tough one!! I really enjoy healthy food though so I'm going to say calamari with rice and chargrilled veg!

Who inspires you?

Anyone who just digs deep and gives it their all whilst having a balance.

What would you describe as the 'perfect' day?
My perfect day would be getting up when my body wakes naturally and having a breakfast of eggs or a healthy smoothie, followed by whacking in an hours hard training! Then getting a little dressed up and exploring the countryside, followed by a lovely healthy pub lunch and a glass of red wine 🙂 then relaxing at home

What 3 foods/ingredients could you not live without?

Brocolli, peanut butter and eggs

What things do you like to do to stay active?

Walk!! It makes a huge deference! Then choose different activities to keep fitness fresh.. I definitely go through phases but it's kept me feeling fit without getting bored of it! Next stop .. Rock climbing!

What makes you happy?

Lastly, what is your favourite quote?

Never regret anything in life as at one time it was exactly what you wanted
