WORK IT - Sweaty 30 Minute Leg Day Workout


Happy Saturday my lil' chickpeas! I hope you've all had a great week and you're all having a fabulous weekend enjoying the last of the 'sunny weather'. I've had a fab but busy old week working, blogging, training, eating, training, working, blogging, you get the idea haha. After being ill for the first time in FOREVER the week before though it was so nice to get back into some kind of routine and of course get my body moving again, haha.

But as well all know the weekend is no time to cancel your workouts...yes, yes, you guessed it's WORK IT workout time! This weeks workout is a killer... perfect for when you're short on time but still wanting to push your body to it's limits. This 'Sweaty 30 minute Leg Day' workout is a geat combination of strength and cardio in order to build muscle, melt fat and break a sweat in less than an hour! I actually love to do this workout when I'm feeling a little under motivated and need that extra boost, as there's no slacking with this. 

The workout involves a variety of 6 exercises all focusing on the lower body. All you need is a set of dumbbells and a kettle bell and wahey you're good to go! However this workout is far from easy... It's a bit like a 'dreaded 6' workout, haha. 

The idea is to perform each exercise back to back to you fullest ability, with no rest in between. Then when you've completed one round, rest for 60 - 90 seconds and repeat the circuit 6 more times!!!

 So that's enough gabbing, let's get sweaty, get moving and burn them legs!
