Feel The Fear And Do It Anyway...

 Time for a little ramble...

I wanted to talk about fear, most specifically fear of the future. I fear the future an awful lot. It's so easy to get caught up in everything we want to do, everything we HAVE to do or feeling overwhelmed by the things we have not yet achieved. I know I certainly do, I'm the word's worst haha. As much as I love having goals and wanting to achieve big, wonderful things, it can become extremely overwhelming when you think you'll never quite get there.

The fear always creeps in along with a lot of self doubt. I have a lot of days where I doubt my abilities and don't feel good enough. It's so easy to begin to be scared you've not quite done enough or could've tried harder. Or we fear the unknown, the future is a scary place for many of us. I know how quick things can change in the blink of an eye.

The thing is most of the time, when we get these rushes of fear they aren't necessarily true. This self judgment comes from lack of self confidence, something we all sometimes lack! Take a step back and focus on everything you've already done. Realise that what you perceive yourself as isn't what the rest of the world see. There are probably so many people, friends and family who're proud of you more than you realise...

OKAY so let's think about thiss... Fear can always be turned into a positive. A little bit of fear is actually healthy.  It's okay to feel fear. It keeps you cautious and makes life that little bit more interesting. Who knows what could happen next! I love the saying "feel the fear and do it anyway" it's something I really try to live by. It's fine to feel that fear but instead of defeating us we should turn around and bloody do what ever we want anyway. Things have a 50/50 chance of a positive or negative out come, yet we continue to focus on the bad. The uncertainty leaves us riddled with anxiety. But hey what's the worst that could happen?

And take things SLOOWW, let's all take a step back. It's all about baby steps. Learn to take one day at a time. The truth is, and something I really need to realise, things don't happen over night. Each day is going to give you the chance to progress and grow, what you might not achieve right now you may in a few weeks or months. Give yourself time to learn and progress. Trust the process and let things unfold.  Patience grass hopper.

And lastly relax!! No one has it all figured out. I have to constantly remind myself of this. It's okay to be a lil scared and not know all of the answers. I guess that's the fun part. Let yourself grow as a person, let things unfold and most importantly learn to relax and enjoy the moment. Like I said... It's gone in the blink of an eye...
