Mr Grinch's Green Peanut Butter Smoothie

HAPPY DECEMBER. Yes my lil chickpeas it's FINALLY my favourite month of the year. IT'SSSS CHRISTMASSS.... Okay maybe not that soon but yeah, I'm one festive eager beaver. I mean to be quite honest I've been acting like it's December since September begun... I always do, oppsie.

But, hey everyone loves Christmas right? Well except the odd Grinch or too....

That brings me onto this smoothie! The 'Grinch's Green Peanut Butter Smoothie' my fave green smoothie at the moment!!!! Oh yeah, despite our love for Christmas not everyone is a green smoothie enthusiast like myself. The Grinch gave it the festive twist and then I thought well hey not everyone likes the greens and at Christmas it's the prime time to maybe not pack in as many (hey chocolate has it's priorities)....So it's the PERFECT way to squeeze them in. In the most delciousss way!

Despite what you may be thinking about this green smoothie (don't be a Grinch) give it a pop! You may be pleasantly surprised. Me and Hale's Naturals Powdered Peanut Butter have teamed up to wipe away that green smoothie fear. It's packed with antioxidants, vitamins and minerals to keep you hip and healthy this holiday season (which means more mince pies late ey ;-))

With the creamy frozen banana, sweet blueberries, the added nutrients from the spinach (plus using frozen create the best texture!), Vanilla VivoLife vegan protein powder (which ya know is my fave!), spirulina for added antioxidants and protein and the blends of coconut from the creamy coconut milk. And of course the ultimate peanut butter hints and flavours from the powdered peanut butter. The whole thing is a creation of sweet and smoothness which is ultimately enjoyable, you won't even believe it's that Grinchy green! Cheers to a happy and healthy holiday season!

- 1 large frozen banana
- 1 handful of frozen blueberries
- 1/2 bag frozen spinach
- 1 scoop of protein powder (I use VivolifeUK Vanilla)
- 1 tsp spirulina (optional)
- 1 tbsp Hale's Natural powdered peanut butter
- 1/2 tsp ground flaxseed (optional)
- Coconut milk

Place all of the following ingredients in a highly powdered blender. Adjust the coconut milk to the consistency you'd like your smoothie ( I use a little less as I like it nice and thick)

Blend together until fully smooth and thick. I also like to add extra ice to make even thicker.

Serve in your favourite glass and enjoy!
