Roasted Chickpeas Two Ways - Spicy Paprika & Curry Cumin

03:01

One I get a food obsession, oh that's it. I'll make until it cannot be possibly made no more (well not literally but you get my point...) And oh my lord I'm obsessed with this recipe, well two recipes but either way... I've been eating them eveerrryyy day! I just cannot help myself.

Okay guys so we all know I love my chickpeas... But... This addiction is a whole new level

Roasted chickpeas. The perfect snacking game. Crispy and crunchy. Packed with flavour. Spicy, salty or sweet. It's a wide wide world out there for roasted chickpea combinations.

They're like lil crispy nuts which you go nuts for. Seriously, you'll go nuts.

These lil beauties are literally the key to most meals, salads heartier, crunchier, scattered on top of soup for extra texture, or crunchy little puffs to easily snack on. Pop in ya handbag, pop in a bowl or eat them from the tray... I'm a classy lady I know.

The only down fall to them is they neeeeeddd to come with a huge warning. They're addictive. Very addictive. I mean it's so easy to eat the whole batch in one go... Trust me it's possible... I'd make double the batch if I were you...

Personally I adore savoury roasted chickpeas. They're the bombbb! I love them in any meal/dish! So here I have some spicy paprika and curry cumin. Oh the flavours!

Anyway enough of my blabbering, let's get going...

Spicy Paprika

- 1 tin chickpeas (drained & rinsed)
- 1 tsp cumin
- 2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 to 1 tsp cayenne pepper
- Salt & pepper
- Rapeseed oil

Curry Cumin

- 1 tin chickpeas (drained & rinsed)
- 2 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp curry powder
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- Salt & pepper
- Rapeseed oill

Pre - heat your oven to 180c. Line a baking tray with foil.

Place your chickpeas in a large bowl and pick your spices of choice. Cover the chickpeas with a drizzle of oil and all of the spices. Mix until all of the chickpeas are fully coated.

Spread out your chickpeas evenly on the tray and pop in the oven for 30 - 40 minutes, turning half way. They should be super crispy when done.

Serve in whatever way you fancy, enjoy!
